1. the avg sales price of a pc in 1998 compared to the avg for 1997. Perhaps you can explain this statement then: "The effect of the increased unit sales on consolidated net revenue for the third quarter and first nine months of fiscall 1999 compared to the same periods of fiscal 1998 was partially offset by a decline in average revenue per unit sold of 9% and 10% respectively." From DELL 3Q 10-Q 1998. Or this: "Weighted average unit prices (AUP's) were approximately 15% lower in the third quarter of 1998 versus the comparable period of 1997." Gateway 2000 Inc. 3Q 10-Q. Very confusing, this stuff.
