FWIW, I get the same thing when I read batches. The color doesn't change to reflect viewed messages. I'm using IE. No big deal though, as long as I am aware of it though and can remember what was the last message I scanned.

Surelock, This has not been covered. Your browser (Netscape or IE) only knows about messages because of the URL entered in the address field of the browser window. When you use the download feature, the format of the URL is different from loading a single SI message, so your browser has no way to know which individual messages have been loaded. If you want to keep track of unread messages on a thread, I've found that SI's message manager works well. Regards, Craig
