Tench, Kryotech said they got their P-III results from firingsquad.com. Unfortunately, they seem to be having a problem with their site -- it crased both Communicator 4.5 and IE 5.0 on my machine. Another site with some PIII-500 benchmarks is thesanctum.net, they got only 40.2 fps on crusher demo, even with 320 Megs of RAM! That's 27% below Sharkey's results. Maybe Sharky turns sound off, or turned off effects. Petz

K6-2-400 supply drying up? thechipmerchant.com did not list any K6-2-400 price on Friday or today. I don't see any lack of advertising for K6-2-400 systems yet, which means the OEM's are still getting their share. But that too may change as K6-3 uses more production capacity. Petz

Looks to me like Microsoft screwed Intel royally. Petz
