Nice pop for BRCM in the last half hour, turning a negative day into a a positive. We're stuck in a trading range for a while, though. People are still trying to figure out how to value this company.

Doughboy.

What prevents their arena from becoming a
commodity biz?

Look at the history in the modem markets?
Hayes who?
USRX?
Zoom?

The big boyz are attacking this area from all angles with full power. The best thing (IMO) that BRCM's board could do for it's shareholders is SELL OUT NOW, while the getting it good!! If not, I'd expect a CUBE like chart pattern to take place.

"Shades Andy Chen"

TA wise...If this pig closes below 57, CYA cuz mid 40's or 30's it will be. Sad volume today also is a caution light IMO.

Hi Mr. Miller,
<I think the idea of
raising rates is stupid. It won't happen.>

IMHO, I'm neutral on stupidity. It seems to come into play as often as not in FRB policy, at least historically speaking, that is. FWIW, I'm also neutral on hubris.

We'll just have to wait and see, to paraphrase Keynes, in the long run, rates will rise....
