Dell, Wal-Mart make Fortune's most admired list

NEW YORK, Feb 22 (Reuters) - Dell Computer Corp DELL and Wal-Mart Stores Inc WMT were the two new companies added this year to Fortune magazine's list of the 10 most-admired companies in America.

The top 10 are:
1. General Electric Co <GE.N> ,
2. Coca-Cola Co <KO.N> ,
3. Microsoft Corp <MSFT.O> ,
4. Dell Computer,
5. Berkshire Hathaway Inc <BRKa.N> ,
6. Wal-Mart,
7. Southwest Airlines Co <LUV.N> ,
8. Intel Corp <INTC.O> ,
9. Merck and Co Inc <MRK.N> ,
10. Walt Disney Co <DIS.N> .

The two companies bumped from the list were Hewlett-Packard Co HWP , which dropped to No. 18 from from No. 5, and Johnson & Johnson JNJ , which dropped to No. 12 from No. 9.

The annual list is compiled based on surveys of thousands of business people.
