Hi people. For the emerging G&K, TMCS.... TicketMaster- CitySearch 1- big backers... 2- exclusive franchise with Ticketmaster (monopoly). 3- merging with Lycos (probably) 4- very, very convenient, to display different arenas/theatres in the world, and choose tickets to events from anywhere. Convenience aspect is unbelievable, as who wants to listen to voice mail, or waiting on a line for 30 minutes, or waiting IN line at an office for a sought after even ticket. Display the seats graphically choose location buy 4 tickets or whatever. pay electronically. Barriers to entry : High... Ticketmaster is a monopoly Anything else I missed people ? Take care Jean
