On Friday, NEC Corp. said it expected to post a loss of 150 billion yen ($1.25 billion) in the fiscal year, four times more than it had previously forecast. The company, whose president said he would resign to take responsibility for the loss -- NEC's largest ever -- also announced 15,000 job cuts over the next three years, including 9,000 in Japan, and a major restructuring of its U.S. unit, Packard Bell NEC Inc.
