(if you haven't already done so)... this guy is the one who started Browsemaster.com and he seems pretty responsive to user problems...

Or maybe if you read the thread, someone else has already had the same problem you are having...

Would've PM'd but you have them disabled. Make sure the DOS box is still running when you try to use BrowseMaster. The DOS box is running an application that is your local BrowseMaster server.

You can set up BrowseMaster to load all unread messages in one go, get all of them, hang up and then read them while off line. It even caches the posts downloaded in QuickScan mode, so you can "zoom in" on an individual post while you're off line. Might even save you money over the long haul.
