PFE Weekly Rxs: 2/19/99

As reported by Merrill Lynch for the week ending 2/19/99:

Viagra

New Rxs: 65,208 (-6.5%%)...7 week growth streak is broken
Refill Rxs: 98,924 (-3.2%)....5th highest refill total ever recorded
Total Rxs: 164,132 (-4.5%)...3rd highest level in 1999

The average February weekly level of 169,017 represents a 6.8% increase over January 1999 and the highest weekly levels since August 1998. The absolute number of Viagra Rxs is still very high. As an example, Evista's New Rxs for 2/19/99 were 19,684 representing only 30% of Viagra's Rx specification.

Celebrex

New Rxs:154,640 (+27.3%) ...Growth is beginning to slow as expected
