Now that you mention it, I think the billboard may have been located near the office where that team of IMFX object guys who left en masse to join Oracle worked. The billboard basically said that while Informix was hiring lawyers (Phil White went to Larry's house to demand that his programmers be returned, then sued Oracle and the programmers personally), Oracle was hiring software developers. Sound vaguely familiar?

It was there (the Informix billboard) last week. 200yds N of the redwood exit on 101.

It says 'The one with the smartest data wins' whatever that means.

Maybe Oracle should put one up that says 'The one whose company isnt going down the toilet wins'
