I agree that it's time for consolidation Anax,

And yes, "SIZE DOES MATTER" when e-tailing.

In fact, when the CEO of Beyond.com was questioned this afternoon as to whether a company like EGGHEAD.COM would be a participant in the sector consolidation, the CEO replied something to the effect of "I see more more consolidation..."

Very light volume again today.

Best of luck SCOTT

As a former long in this stock, I thought I'd drop by and relate an experience I just had.

I was shopping for a so-called "network starter kit," which consists of two Ethernet cards, cable and a hub. The price at the EGGS site? $89 for a Linksys kit. On Friday, I stopped by the local Office Depot. The price? $69.

Not too competitive if you ask me.

I think there are many, many better opportunities out there to make money being long. As for me, next time EGGS pops its head above $20, I'll have the short sell trigger ready.
