Online Merchant: The Right Product at the Right Time:
Internet commerce leapt into the mainstream in 1998 with consumers spending over $9 billion online according to the U.S. Commerce Department. Small merchants are demanding inexpensive and easy-to-use commerce enabling products to take advantage of this growing retail trend and, to keep up with this demand, retail outlets are stocking more Internet commerce products and even devoting entire software sections to this growing segment, added Matalon.
"Small merchants must become a part of the online retail market in order to survive yet, most small merchants find themselves without the resources or technology know-how to take advantage of the tremendous opportunity available on the Internet," said Alex Santos, President and Founder, Me2 Communications (www.me2music.com). "Online Merchant1s ease of use and flexibility allowed me to create and publish my store on my own, saving thousands of dollars in consulting fees. I am excited to now be part of the Stumpworld team and look forward to the many exciting opportunities they have available to me."
