Regarding CHRZ, and any of the moving y2k stocks,

We are just about finished testing and certifying y2k complaince on the many systems around the company, and feeling pretty good about it. Then the boss drops the bomb in this morning's kick the week off monday morning meeting "OK, we've done well in meeting the timeline for completion of testing... ...but what we thought was end to end testing, was really somewhere in the middle, to somewhere else in the middle. Now the real end to end tests have to be done, and because of the time factor, we need consultants to help test and to fix what turns up."

IMHO, Remediation needs will continue well beyond 1/1/00, and all those projects that are on hold in favor of y2k can't stay on hold forever. There's plenty of work to go around for those companies aggressive enough to go out and get it.
