Mohan,
LaRoche was a totally Independent Whacko with a lot of money. He was never connected with the Libertarian Party and his philosophy, though seasoned with a few libertarian ideas, was far from being libertarian at all.

This ancient bit of misinformation (LaRoche=Lib.) has been floating around for a couple decades. It was wrong back then. Still is.
