The first few hundred thousand tonnes of open-pit mentioned in the MRDI study would involve moving a lot of waste rock to open the pit, right - that can be economically hauled to around twenty clics or so to build all-weather road, and the branch from the Lupin winter road to Snap Lake is only around thirty clics ..... do I have that right ...... of course, you can't just do it and smile like we used to do in the woods around here, you need permits up the ying-yang ... but still, the physical work of it all is not exactly rocket science, nor expensive.
