He bought a Sony Digital (I can find out the model for you and let you know later.) It's great. He took some fantastic shots and the beauty of it is that if you see something you don't like, just erase it and do it over. I just fell in love with it. I guarantee you won't want to be without one next time you travel. I still use my 30MM, but it's so much fun to share your pictures over the net with your family and friends. It will only get better as the monitors continue to improve. Also, they are not very expensive, I think he paid under $500 for his.

I would suggest the Sony Mavica MVC-FD71, comes with a 3.5" floppy. It's the best one I've had so far (and I've tried a few). Have not tested the latest Nikon which is also supposed to be good. The Sony is the only one with a 3.5" floppy and I like that!
