>>DBCC "an incubator of early stage Internet companies" ...

apparently DBCC did not know this nor interpret said alliance similarly...DBCC never issued anything...meanwhile TSCN quote.yahoo.com, as the David of this niche, is showing [the current Goliath] DBCC how to maximize and sustain shareholder value...TSCN recently had NBC align with them...the CMGI/YHOO/AMZN/EBAY of this niche was singularly DBCC...and now DBCC and TSCN...it is our opinion if DBCC takes down [merge/exclusive alliance] OMGA and Clearstation.com, DBCC should immediately be unequivocally perceived by the Street as the eBay/AMZN/CMGI/YHOO of internet investing(.)...and should immediately?/timely command an accordant market cap...in related news? InfoSeek (SEEK) (ABC/Disney alliance) apparently is also on the prowl for a 'financial news source "...The portal will add a "major branded" financial news source to its host of Web properties in the coming months, Chief Financial Officer Les Wright said at the San Francisco conference..." source: &copy 02/22/99 (CBS.MW) cbs.marketwatch.com ...it is unfortunate that it simply does not appear DBCC understands any of this... ref/ messages.yahoo.com@m2.yahoo.com

SportsLine USA SPLN (+3 1/8) quote.yahoo.com Forms Alliance With Rete Srl to Create SoccerAge.com

New Site Provides True Global Soccer Coverage of Seven Top International Soccer Leagues

FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Feb. 23, 1999--Expanding its international reach, SportsLine USA, Inc., (Nasdaq:SPLN - news), publisher of CBS SportsLine (cbs.sportsline.com), today announced a new alliance with Rete Srl, a leading worldwide provider of Internet-based soccer content based in Cagliari, Milan, Italy and New York.

The agreement results in the formation of a new Web site, ''SoccerAge'' (www.soccerage.com), which will enable fans of the top professional soccer leagues in Italy, Germany, Spain, England, Portugal, Belgium, and The Netherlands to follow their favorite teams and players all at one convenient site.

SportsLine USA will host and co-produce the SoccerAge site, which provides top coverage of Italian Serie A, German Bundesliga, Spanish Liga, French Championship, Dutch Eerste Division, and other European championships, along with world championship cups ranging from UEFA Cup to the World Cup. Initial coverage, both in English and Italian, will include live scores, schedules, results, team reports, and statistics, as well as top games of the week, tournament histories, rosters, lineups, and Web news.

''This relationship with Rete dramatically increases our international reach by tapping into fans of the world's best soccer leagues,'' said Michael Levy, president and CEO of SportsLine USA. ''We saw first-hand the enormous popularity of soccer across the globe when our unparalleled World Cup '98 site generated tremendous traffic both domestically and abroad. Building upon our World Cup coverage and our ongoing top-notch coverage of the English Premier League with Soccernet, the addition of SoccerAge allows SportsLine to provide its users with true global coverage of the world's most popular sport.''

The former Rete site, with more than 170,000 pages of content and coverage of more than 2,000 teams, 14,000 players and 60,000 matches, has received numerous accolades, including ''Most Interesting'' by The New York Times, ''Site of the Day'' and ''Top 100'' by PC Magazine, and ''A Must'' by IBM Internet Connection. More than 2,500 Web sites are linked to SoccerAge.

''SportsLine USA will help SoccerAge achieve its goal of remaining a global force in Web-based soccer content as we move into the new millennium,'' says Ezra Chammah, chairman of Rete Srl. ''We intend to use and cultivate our strong relationships in Europe and Latin America to continue to develop the highest quality soccer content combined with the broadest possible coverage..."
