CNBC to Revamp Site

CNBC, the business-news cable channel, is expected to announce
Tuesday that it is revamping its CNBC.com Web site (CNBC.com).
CNBC plans to spend more than $15 million to revamp the site to focus
much more on personal finance and investing. The site has been primarily a
promotional vehicle for the network, a unit of General Electric's NBC.
Dow Jones, publisher of this newspaper, provides content to CNBC in the
U.S., and jointly owns CNBC operations in Asia and Europe.

"Isn't it great that we can replay some of the tapes......"

Reminds me of trying to find some tapes to re-use a while ago. I popped them in and FF to see if anything I want to keep will be lost. I came upon some old CNBC stuff. Wow, what a difference, Neil Cavuto, Doug Ramsey, Karen Gibbs, Dan Dorfman, and Dean Sheppard, old faces now gone. Different graphics, less annoying sound, and the stock prices on the tape from another planet. Have a nice week, Rip Van Winkle & PW.
