I wish I could take that article you posted on Cisco and shove it down our Cisco "thread moron's" throat. It does a better job of explaining Ciscos dominance than anything I have read. I am so sick of engineer's posting articles about their company's latest "whiz-bang" equipment that is going to wipe out Cisco. They just don't understand Cisco's marketing dominance, Cisco owns the IOS, and the architecture!

With the risk of being yelled at for "spamming", here's what I just posted on the MSFT thread.

What are your thoughts on the next two weeks.
Confused, frankly. I had a client show me his charts last Sat on MSFT,with the 20 day and 50 day, moving average crossing. This, according to him, means MSFT will drop. I don't understand these charts, and don't really believe in them. I think the overall market has to be up. AOL made a big move today, and Cisco came through with one. Why not Softy? We have the split coming, and AOL's split sure
moved it today. We have new product coming out. If we don't move up, its the DOJ problem, which we can't really judge.

I don't want to be betting this stock price on the DOJ decision. It's bad enough figuring out stocks without that nonsense.
I would rather be out at the time of the decision, and miss part of a move up if it favors softy, than be in and be caught in a down move on a decision against them.

I am 57% softy through May, barring something new happening . I will pull out before the Judges decision.

RE: Linux is all the rage all the sudden. Everyone is writing to it..you can even buy Linux machines from DELL
now!

Why is "everyone" writing to it. I would think they would prefer to write to windows since it's on the vast majority of desktops. Or are they writing to non desktop applications?
