Dennis, Thanks for the Palm V links. Yes, it was my understanding as well, that lithium ion *polymer* was only mentioned with regards to the European release of the Palm V, expected in the April/May time frame. When the article containing the interview with the 3COM European manager came out on ZDNet last month, I looked up all the other news links I could find from 3COM relating to their Palm series of products. The most recent PR (from over a month ago) regarding the U.S. release of the Palm V (codenamed 'Razor') never mentioned 'polymer,' that was only specifically mentioned for the European release. Of course, it could be a 'toe wetting' position by 3COM, and the polymer-battery product could find its way back to the U.S..
