A few days ago, I commented that the hiatus period between the last of Q4's disappointing numbers (Dell and AMAT) and the onset of Q1 warnings would be an opportunity for the lambs to frolic and for the bears to quietly and slowly load up their puts. Well it didn't take the little darlings long to revive, so the question running through my mind is,.....might it only last a few days?

Today was frenetic. It was based on some silly PC upgrades (GTW will make $0.90 in the quarter,....no reasons given of course) and anticipation that A. G. will continue to stroke the market. The violence of the action suggests a short duration to me, but I've learned not to be a hero. It makes for fascinating watching, from here deep in the weeds with the powder primed and all. (g)

If they do keep it going, it will make for a stunning opportunity coming into the warnings period. If they were disappointed by Dell's mild miss, wait till they see this "coming attraction" (G) Comments appreciated.

Best, Earlie
