ALL...Food for thought.....What brand Computer does WalMart sell?.....

Just this past weekend I was in one of their Supercenters and seen
an Acer Computer. This I was told is the only brand they carry.

Isn't Acer leaving the PC business? Hmmmmmmmm

I'm not suggesting anything, but I do believe DELL did some business
with SAM's a few years back which ended because of ..........

A few rumors popping up on some other Threads, so thought i'd Post
here to see what comments are forthcoming.

Get ready, get set, gooooooooooooo.....J.D.

Here's a neat trick:
1. set April '87 quarter to 1; increment by one per quarter
2. plot Dell's revenue through last quarter (log scale probably)
3. plot the best-fit, 6th order polynomial alongside it (I get something like y=-0.00001402*x^6 + 0.00196704*x^5 - 0.09913355*x^4 + 2.22661332*x^3 - 21.06150074*x^2 + 82.37124749*x - 24.01004837).

Certainly, this has no analytical validity whatever. But it is very entertaining to take that equation out twelve more quarters.

Hee hee,
