Gary- I guess one analogy for the argument that most bulls have is: Take a look at FedEx..

When fax machines came out in the mid/late 80's...a lot of people naturally assumed that it would kill the overnight package delivery service..or at least severely impact it....as it turns out, like the broadband argument, there is an (seemingly) insatisable appetite for that type of information-giving...regardless of the development of new products.....Simarlarly, information-processing machines like PC's, handhelds, etc..Well, I am one of the least technically literate here, but I can very well see their complementary nature (winning out)...And most everyone having one (or more) of each....

Where is the either/or here?

Gary,

Well...we do agree on something.

If you have found your way to the Napeague web site and read my views on the Pillars of NASDAQ, you know that I also have strong reservations about DELL.
