What's the status on the Oaktree buyout? Did it fizzle out, or are they still haggling? John M.

Hi John, Called Emerson and nothing new to report on Oaktree. Seems the officers are out of state doing business. I did talk to Marcia Jefferson. She mentioned that Emerson's going carefully and slowly with the web site to get it right. They're presently involved with contracts regarding the website. Something about Domain holding. (Anybody know?) Marcia also mentioned the site will have press releases, filings, and their annual report. I suggested pictures of the officers, a more detailed history of Emerson, (going way back), and the "buy" ratings that Consumer Reports has given the company. I know when I purchase an important product, I always have Consumer Reports nearby. Mr C, Must have been difficult to post being sick, THANK YOU!
