terrapin: i appreciate your comments. i'm not a techie either. learning a bunch, though..... WRT your suggestion that msft/intuit/qwest et al. may have "partnered up" with gmgc in only a nominal sense and will somehow preclude gmgc from "dating around," i must respectfully disagree. gmgc is no wallflower, and it will not sit pining away by the telephone waiting for the captain of the football team to ask it out. ain't gonna happen. gmgc is the market leader in VUI, and it has many suitors clamoring for a date. we haven't seen the half of it, i believe. we have a savvy ceo and a savvy BOD. we have the best VUI in the market, bar none. and, in 1999, it seems as though everyone has finally come to an appreciation that voice-activated applications are the next killer app. we may be in a war with the shorts and / or the MMs right now, but my bunker has been fully constructed, and i am dug in for the long haul.......
