This deal has been done before, Sprint Internet did it 2 years ago... Where is Sprint today?

I think these kind of deals are tired.

AOL rules because my dad likes it. Because my Grandma likes it. And because many Americans cannot distinguish between the Internet and AOL.

Let's not forget the biggest reason. AOL has "stickiness" The best websites are the ones that keep loyal users. AOL keeps their users through their e-mail identities.

We'll look back over 1999 saying we saw the beginning of the end of Yahoo. Yahoo has no loyalty. Yahoo is vulnerable because noone can buy them and they are a media company first and foremost.
