Gordon is a bit bonkers on the loyalty question. He said that it would have been better had Ted Kozcynski's brother had "taken him out" than turned him in.
I still don't get it, that everybody fails to appreciate that Linda was really scared to cross the White House, but didn't want to be forced into perjury. You may claim that she exaggerated the danger from the Clinton's, but she had seen the Billy Dale railroading, and was suspicious about the Vince Foster mess, because of the squirrely behavior of the Clinton's minions in its wake, and maybe one could even say that she had watched too many thrillers: still, the fear was real, and not wholly baseless.
