John

There is a lot more to testing Y2K then just simple rollover in to year 2000. There is several dates that can fail past the Jan. 1, 2000. One of them is Feb. 29, 2000.
SEMI organization came up with a protocol that has about 30 tests.
Software is the major cause for concern when it comes to the Y2K not the hardware. Hardware can be fixed relatively cheep by updating BIOS.

John, Wow, that sounds a lot cheaper than buying a new box. <g>
