st,

re The problem is that with volatility like ours, in 3 weeks I may be whip sawed to pieces :(

That's why I'm in cash now.

Sorry to hear about your losses. I understand. Thought about shorting IBM last week.

Yesterday, TA said we go down. But buy-the-dippers don't look at TA :-(

INDEX UPDATE
====================================

I will be initiating more PUTs at tomorrows highs. No, Im not buying with 2 hands just positioning myself on individual stocks which have hit extremes.

By Wed the market should start to see some profit taking. Whether it turns into a bigger pullback - I dont know. Also it may not react immediately but could. We could see flatness for a few days before the selling starts but do not think the market will get much higher than tomorrows highs for this immediate short-term cycle(1-5 days).

Many had anticipated a pop this week and I think we may have gotten it all in one quick lump. If the market internals do not improve immediately and dramatically then the market should start reversing tomorrow or WED.

Tomorrows highs should be close enough to this short-term top.

DOW - CLASS 1 SELL
OEX - CLASS 2 SELL
SPX - CLASS 3 SELL
NAZ - MID RANGE
RUT - MID RANGE
BKX - CLASS 1 SELL
DRG - CLASS 1 SELL
