Re: Live webcast of Y2K debate later today

ZDY2K debate

In response to overwhelming concern about the impact of the Y2K computer bug on the financial services industry, Ziff-Davis' ZDNet has organized a high-profile industry debate to examine the foundations of customer and investor fears. The event will be hosted by editors from ZDNet's ZDY2K site and will feature top Y2K experts from the banking, research and investing industries.

Panelists include: Steven Hock, president, Triaxsys Research; Dennis Grabow, founder and CEO, the Millennium Investment Corp.; and George Juncker, vice president, bank supervision, New York Federal Reserve. Mitch Ratcliffe, editor and executive producer of ZDY2K, will moderate.

The ZDY2K debate event will be webcast live -- keep an eye on this space for a link to the broadcast. If you'd like to attend the debate, it will be presented at Ziff-Davis' IT for WallStreet '99, a conference and exposition aimed at helping IT professionals survive and prosper amid radical change in the financial services industry. The debate will take place at on the show floor on February 23 at 12:45 p.m. ET at the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center in New York.
