Clearly it is hard to predict the future but it is my belief that we will see less stone and mortar business and more ecommerece in the not too distant you know what.... Another point of violent agreement. I certainly would never take the position that ATM is going to go away, but rather that there will be a peaceful co-existence between IP and ATM. Beyond the pure quality issues, I believe that VoIP lends itself to the future e-world better than VoATM (VoATM used generically rather than VTOA). Additionally, the potential costs savings in the realm of moves, adds and changes may tilt the scale over to VoIP in many situations.
