Jim, The new Celerons are terrific, but I don't believe that Intel will really price them to sell. INTC has already admitted they aren't ready for the $499 market. And Dell will have a problem in the low priced end because they are the high cost producer, if you count their profit margin. That is what has to give to give them success down there.

I agree on the gamers and the gotta have it cause it's new buyers. Workstations and low end servers? Maybe. But you still have to ask why a corp will pay up for the PIII. I don't see anything there to attract them. Low end servers had weak growth last year and workstations were negative growth, and this doesn't look like the sort of product to spur sales into weak markets. Low end server sales depend upon pc sales, and that is still heading south. Maybe Dell can overcome all of these disadvantages. But overcome them enough to put up the growth numbers needed to support the helium stock? Doubt it.

Best,
