Sponge,

I was looking at the same data, and especially the A/D volume indicator which double topped just prior to last fall's correction.

But what I have found most particularly interesting is the recent action in the Russell indices!!

The RUT is bouncing off a triple bottom:

While The RUI and RUA looked be ready for new highs:

Anyone out there able to provide a little insight into what general economic and market conditions cause a market rotation to small caps?

Regards,

Ron

Sponge,

Thanks for your comments. Heres something I noticed. Last APRIL-JUNE the market was rangetrading before the upswing in JULY. At that time the A/D was also relatively flat. However during the current range trading period, somewhat similar to APRIL-JUNE, the A/D is going down. Many are expecting a huge breakout to the upside like last JULY, but Im not that comfortable with that idea in light of the declining A/D, as compared to a flat A/D back in APRIL-JUNE.
