It appears that my point wasn't understood....I am not referring to any industry such as the internet when I say that it is hard to justify today's market valuations as compared to say 10 years ago, or just historically....What I am saying is simple...We are, IMHO, in a new era....more money and participation in the market than ever before, therefor traditional valuation models are inherently not accurated unless they have adjusted for this new paradigm...I believe the market is making the adjustment for us.
One can debate intelectually all they want weather the AOL's of the world are comparable to tulips, but it is all academic...The results will shed the correct answers, but the book won't be closed for at least another 7-10 years on this subject. FWIW, i vote no bubble, just the market recognizing a leader in an exciting and profitable field.
