Just a thumbnail example of long periods where dollar-cost averaging did not work. All I said was "it sure is interesting", surely a defensible analysis of the data.

I'd love to have an actual, rigorous discussion of investing. Throw down something, and we'll talk. I'll take hyperlinks or old-fashioned references if you're afraid of mischaracterizing another theory.
