I am interested in your thought as to how low we're gonna go with RIG, DO, HAL, SLB and FGI.
Do you think that RIG's "out of favor" compared to DO mainly due to many of the contracts about to expire this year or is there more bad news to come? Thanks in advance.

Looks whose back after a 12 day sabatical.

You'd be better off waiting until after the March OPEC meeting to grace us with your presence.

Well I guess some exciting Slider posts is better than watching our oil service stocks hang in limbo at or near 52 week lows while the internuts and technology stocks continue their over hyped over valuated tear North.

Slider, Welcome Back!

You might want to adjust your portfolio. Although GIFI IR has not called me back. I did receive a private communication from a source I consider reliable: "GIFI has been turned loose "unofficially" to start the rebuild on the module. Texaco, like all co.'s awarding major projects, has to approve the release of subcontractor news that mentions their name and contract value. That might take a while - especially if all the contract language isn't finalized."

The information rings true because it makes sense. Following the formal announcement the analysts will be raising earnings estimates and the long term trend will finally turn up. I'm in for the long haul.

Slider, should it surprise me that your first post after returning from exile contains more name calling? I guess some people never learn. You can be bullish all you want. You can stick your head in the sand and call another bottom if you want. You can disagree with others on this thread who are VERY concerned about the long and short term implications that today's oil prices foreshadow.

Platter, if oil prices are up nearly 3% today, I don't view the action in the OSX as positive. I am interested in your view.
