mindmeld - The theme of the article, read as a whole, is that Cisco is attempting to leverage its proprietary IOS and dominance in data networking in the enterprise sector into market dominance with ISPs and carriers. Will they be successfull? IMO, the answer is partially successful. Their leverage in the enterprise sector will certainly help them with VPNs. However, Carriers will not accept any product which is not 100% interoperable with the equipment of other vendors. It was an interesting article. Ken
