That's true, for better or for worse. Some of us competed with IBM back then (most everybody in this biz) and remember all the lawsuits vs. IBM. The old saw was that if a smaller company sued IBM, by the time anything came of it in the courts, the smaller company might be out of business. It's a pain in the butt to get sued because you're the big dog on the porch, but it's a lot better than being the chihuahua doing the suing.
