Gee; Clinton was under the same attack or worse. The mainstream media had declared Clinton finished way back at the start of this; recall Sam Donaldson's comments. The mainstream media did everything it could to declare Clinton guilty and finished and were constantly stumped that they could have no effect on the Amercian people, and yet you claim this same effort was totally effective against Ken Starr; seems implausible. What is more plausible is that the American people saw it all for what it was; a vendetta.
