Impressive, especially after Intel helped them optimize their code for the Pentium then add on a few % for the SSE and viola, a big increase on a couple benchmarks. I know Intel can hype well!
I don't encode video, talk to my computer or do photoshop or want to be followed around the net, so, I'll probably pick up a Pentium II when they get cheap...

It is going to SKYROCKET after the world reads Anand's K63 and Pentium III Benchmark review !!!!

I noticed how Anand several times pointed out all the support for Intel's yet-to-be-released (officially) SSE Pentium-III and contrasted that to the lack of support for AMD's 3DNOW! instruction set.

I also noticed that he pointed out the K6-3 ==> K6-III attempt to imitate the Pentium-III, like I did here a few hundred posts back.
