Linux is the fastest growing OS in the universe. Applications are being ported as we "speak".

No it is not. I have conceptualized a new OS called "DownSouth". It has not installed base, but I have written the first line of code. So now it is the fastest growing OS in the universe.

My point is, how do you measure "fast".. I would hazard to guess that a great deal more copies of Win98 were sold today that were free copies of Linux.

I guess we will wait to see how long it takes for Quicken to be "ported" to Linux, but I plan to buy Quicken 2005 for Windows before Quicken for Linux is available.

That is just my opinion.
