MWM,

For my SLB purchases I have SLBEK's and I most recently bought some SLBEJ's (May 55's and 50's).

For RIG I have RIGEF's and some RIGEE's.

For RON I just have equities that I have averaged down. On the last bottom I had RONEE's.

Since options carry a lot more risk I usually play them out at least 3 months to give the stock enough time to get to my sell objective. The obvious advantage is the opportunity to leverage your play. Not for the faint of heart or the Nancy boy mentality.<g> ...but with the wide swings of the OS sector the options IMO give the best bang for the buck with the same risk.
