>>Frank, Why the Derivatives?

Bill, those are my options plays. The bulk of them are covered calls I sell to generate cash or reduce risk on positions where I want to protect profits. The balance are calls on stocks I think have short term explosive potential. I currently hold calls on dell, and microsoft. I buy them in small amounts, since they are very risky, but they add leverage to my portfolio. I can't use margin as I'm operating in a sheltered account.

I picked up 10 msqcj contracts (msft mar 150 calls) yesterday at 5, and they're trading at 8 1/4 rt <g>. The trick is getting out without letting greed overwhelm.
