Will Linux cut the air supply of SUNW

Actually, I read where several analysts say that linux is more of a threat to the unix market than Windows. This came out late last year. I'm sorry I don't have the article for reference, maybe it was on the street.com. I think it had something to do with running linux on intel instead of paying for a sun machine. I'm really don't remember now, sorry.

No free lunch in this world. The price of Solaris is embedded in the price of hardware !!! Don't be fooled !!!! Linux is not free either, you pay much higher price for support, and the price of inconvenience, and the price of obsolete your Window based application programs when you switch to Linux , do not be naive. Besides, Window is already very cheap, only $49 !!!!
