T-Mex and SA were in * ASCT* for the last few weeks @ 4 1/2 to 7... They (We) all got out and the stock pressed down to 3 1/8 - 3 3/8 yesterday well below its 50 day line on get this vol of 80K...... This should trend back near term to its 50 day and give a exit oppurtunity of 4 1/2 to 4 3/4. Pervious talk on this was takeover at 10. Insiders have been buying. last newsbreak.:: Tuesday February 16, 7:52 pm Eastern Time ALPHARMA makes deals with Ascent FORT LEE, N.J., Feb 16 (Reuters) - Speciality human pharmaceutical and animal health products maker Alpharma Inc. has agreed to provide Ascent Pediatrics Inc. with $40 million in financing and may buy the children's drug maker in the future, the companies said Tuesday. Under the agreement, Alpharma will provide up to $40 million in financing to Ascent through a convertible subordinated note due 2005. The agreement allows Ascent to use up to $12 million of the proceeds for general corporate purposes, with $28 million reserved for projects intended to enhance growth of the company.
