This may be a setup. They said that on 1/6/99 for 98Q4. When the actual loss was
announced, they trumpeted the fiction that it was less than expected.

But it seems the faithful are encouraged. The stock price is up $0.50 pre-open.

I have never felt comfortable with the off the top of the head comments made by this firm. That goes for the analysts too. If you go to my profile, you will see a chart by Robertson Stephenson and their expectations of earnings of the internet stocks. This chart is about a year old and you can see how far they were off already.
