No matter what anyone's feelings are, long term holder vs. short term
holders , nothing is going to happpen unitl we get some news releases
from both companies and we've seen none of any substance.

Now the IR is afraid to say anything unless he has something in his hand, which could be who knows when?

I would guess he is not as close to management as he thought he might have been.

He certainly does'nt control the news releases, we know that for sure.

Ken,
Thank-you for a reasonable, eloquent, and well-though-out response. It is a welcome change from the latest flood of nonsense on this board. Let me address a few quick points from your note.

1) Thanks for not making fun of me for sticking with NPEC. I have always been honest with folks in that I see pennies as a gamble. I have averaged down with my NPEC, and I am content to sit on it until it pops (or dies). I have had similar experiences in the past with relatively "dead" stocks and done really well. I also think that anyone who has been with NPEC for a long time will acknowledge the possibility that even if NPEC is a total scam, I think it's promoters can certainly pump it from .02 back up to .15-.25 or so if they get new blood. A bad thing you say? Well, if we got taken, then it's just more of the same. Spread the love around. <G>.

2) The need for "new blood". I agree. See #1 above.

3) Bashers. Yes, I've seen folks play on people's insecurities when a stock makes a small comeback and they want back in for cheap. Now, if NPEC had quietly risen and folks like J.Nelson were saying that management was fornicating with farm animals instead of running the shop, I might be suspicious. But that's not the case. You have people like MEADE, et al, who are making wild price predictions and "news is coming" predictions which have preceeded this small run. I think we are seeing a cause-and-effect here. And the news which everyone is looking for has been supposedly promised by the company and these newfound, vocal supporters. It's not like we had a quiet run and are now picking on NPEC because it doesn't have news to explain it. No, the promise of news and screams of vast price appreciation were what got folks excited and interested in the first place.

Can I say that anyone is 100% honest here? No. (No, I take that back. joe pakin is honestly as bad a picker as he claims.--Hi, jp! <VBG>) I think everyone is playing some sort of game in the wonderfully anonymous world of internet stock manipulation. But I think that if the "bashers" and the "hypers" want to make it personal, it seems really obvious to me that the newcomers come off looking the most suspicous, even at a casual glance.

So let's get on with discussing the company.....
