GTW, from CBS MarketWatch

Gateway (GTW) was 6 7/16 points richer to 79 5/16 ahead of a Wednesday meeting with analysts. Piper Jaffray analyst Ashok Kumar fattened his view on the PC maker's stock to "strong buy" from "buy," lifting his first-quarter earnings forecast to 90 cents a share from 59 cents. Kumar also raised his 1999 earnings estimate to $3.87 from $2.82 and upped his price objective from $95 to $100. As well, Hambrecht & Quist started coverage of Gateway with a "buy" rating.(Italics and bold are mine.)

I had noticed the Piper Jaffray upgrade yesterday, but the rest is news to me. Those are pretty hefty raises in estimated earnings. Quote.com is not currently showing bidxask on GTW.

>I still want to have a plan.<

If I could plan to trade with no pre-concieved notions of what the tape is telling me, I would do fine.

Broadcast.com, BCST, looks strong again in pre-market, like yesterday. Yesterday it fissiled after it opened. Who knows about today.
