Linux applications ... If you print anything at Cisco you're using Linux. Special effects for the movie Titanic were created using Linux. The Space Station will use Linux. Our national labs build supercomputers using Linux. If you send e-mail you're probably using Linux along the way. With an emulator like Wabi or WINE I'm told you can run your Windows applications. Excel is the only MSFT product I use. And it is a great piece of software. I simply run Windows 95 when I need Excel. The Applix Office Suite for Linux is great. A lot of people love StarOffice. Red Hat Linux includes Netscape Navigator/Communicator. It also includes trial versions of applications including "internet tools, office productivity software (WordPerfect 7 for Linux), CAD, Development tools, sales automation software, and database management".
