New York! I visit about twice a year, mostly to go to museum shows. The last few years, I have stayed on W.57th, at a former Days Inn/ current Holiday Inn. I used to stay at the Empire Hotel all the time, across from Lincoln Center. It is a family thing, so I always make sure to do something for my son, like visit the dinosaurs at the Natural History Museum, or go to FAO Schwartz. Are you in Manhattan? If it is not too nosy, what part of Virginia? I am in the metro D.C. area, on the Maryland side.
